During a week-long letter painting workshop in partnership with the Eyrolles bookshop, we worked in groups of 4 around the question of the “common”. With the support of designer Ivan Murit and his Living Path software, we augmented, transformed and modified open source fonts to create new typographic forms and question new tools of typographic creation. Using the new shapes generated, we painted the bookshop’s windows. Working on a large scale forced us to think about the legibility of our production.
